Awards have been part of Channel Summit since the start. Pitches, live voting and delegates assessing exhibitors on their products, channel strategies and market readiness. Channel Summit EMEA has two awards programmes - Best Product and Best Vendor.
This year’s Best Product Awards followed a different process. Before the event, we asked our steering committee to review all of the applications and shortlist the top entries by category.
An independent perspective and process to create a shortlist of participants to pitch their product on stage at the show. The presentation format was also changed to involve the steering committee on stage and introduce an interview format.
A conversational approach to get into the detail of the product and brand, giving the audience time to assess each participant before a live vote. A QR code to each participant slide so the audience could scan and find out more about the company.
The semi final session resulted in 2 finalists per category, progressing to the finals (a straight pitch to the audience) taking place at the end of the first day.

For the Best Vendor Awards, no change of format or process was needed. Over 2 days, our audience of buyers had time to assess each exhibitor on criteria including go to market strategy, channel programmes, marketing support, product range and roadmaps.
A live vote during the Gala Dinner determined the Best vendor across 8 categories including Mobile, Smart Living, Health & Sport. Winning the Best Vendor award is a fantastic achievement for brands.
Voted for exclusively by retail and distribution buyers, it’s testament to all of the key factors that can lead to channel success.
