Eggs, old skool cameras and a disco dog - what went down at the META Best Product Awards.

30 presenters, 6 categories and 60 seconds to convince an audience of expectant retail buyers. A high pressure scenario for any seasoned presenter so hats off to the brave sales executives who took to the stage to represent their brand and demo their flagship device.

The Best Product Awards delivers energy, entertainment, surprises and laughs and this year’s edition lived up to the billing. A full range of new to market products with interesting features coupled with some well crafted and choreographed pitches.

Highlights include Lexon x Jeff Koon’s Balloon Dog Chromatic grabbed the audience’s attention with its just under 400 LED display, Promate delivered a super slick presentation of their CampCore All in One outdoor power cooking and entertainment station in the SDA & IoT category, and SixClaw introduced a compelling K-12 Teacher agent for the classroom. Meanwhile Promage leaned into the nostalgia with their Classic Retro Duo Twin Lens camera. You can check out all the photos of the presentations and products here

Skillfully marshalled by event moderator Ryan Mackey, each presenter had their moment on stage to tell their story and explain why their product was worthy of the title. Criteria was simple; how innovative is the product, how well did the presenter communicate the benefits and would there be demand for it in-store or online? The audience decides.

There can only be one winner in each category and following vendors made the best impression on the night.

Best Product Lifestyle: Ticnote by Mobvoi

Best Product Entertainment: Nexorx (left) & Best Product Mobile Accessories: Aukey (right)

Best Product Presentation: Chamelo

Best IT Perihperal & Accessories: EpiCarma

Last but most certainly not least, we also recognise the work that goes into these presentations and the evening rounded off with the ‘Best Presentation award’ which this year went to Chamelo - a clear presentation of benefits along with a wow moment was enough to beat the competition.

Congratulations to the winners Aukey, Chamelo, Mobvoi, Airdog, Nexorx and Epicarma. Thank you to all our presenters for giving it a go.
