Broadliner TD SYNNEX has promoted Pascal Murciano and Judith Schreibmayer to SVP South Europe, and SVP Nordics and East Europe, respectively. Patrick Steenssens, senior vice president, Benelux, will join its European executive leadership team, reporting to Patrick Zammit, President Europe.

Murciano will lead a newly created South Europe region comprising of the company's operations in France, Italy, Portugal and Spain. In the new role, he will continue to manage the company's operations in France while the executive leaders for Italy and Iberia will report into him. Schreibmayer will extend her current East Europe (Czechia, Hungary, Poland and Romania) leadership responsibility to include the company's Nordics region. The distributor's country leaders in Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden as well as the Nordics regional business unit, operational and support function leaders will report into her, alongside the current East Europe region leadership team. Murciano and Schreibmayer will continue to report to TD Synnex Europe president Patrick Zammit and form part of the company's European executive leadership team.

Schreibmayer, Murciano, and Steenssens are all seasoned IT channel executives who the company claims will bring deep leadership experience and market knowledge to their new, extended roles. Schreibmayer started at Avnet TS in 2000 and held EMEA and country sales leadership roles before taking the role of vice president for East Europe in 2012, until the acquisition of Avnet TS by Tech Data in 2017.

Murciano started in Tech Data's France operation in 2000 as a finance director before moving into business leadership roles, becoming overall leader of the company's France operation in 2011. Patrick Steenssens started with the company in 2002 as director of logistics before rising to become executive leader for Belgium in 2004 and Benelux in 2018.

"With this announcement, we are adjusting our sub-regional leadership structure to bring closer alignment with our key industry partners and to better leverage our breadth and reach in the region", said Patrick Zammit, President Europe for TD SYNNEX. "I am delighted that Judith and Pascal will continue to bring their business acumen and customer-first attitude to our leadership team in Europe in their new expanded roles. Judith has built a formidable track record of leading a complex, multi-country region and has also become a powerful advocate for diversity, equity and inclusion, playing a key role in establishing our DEI program in Europe. Meanwhile Pascal has led France through significant transformation and business growth while supporting our evolution to become the end-to-end solutions aggregator of choice for the French market - also making significant strides in environmental, social and governance practices."

"It's also a pleasure to welcome Patrick Steenssens to our European executive board. His passion for innovation, customer centricity, operational excellence and ESG will make him a great asset to the team. Judith, Pascal and Patrick have all have proved themselves to be exceptional people-focused leaders over their long tenures with the company, empowering their teams to achieve great results and helping us to build our values-driven TD SYNNEX culture", he added.

As part of these changes, Dominique Deklerck, who led the company's former Benelux, Iberia and Italy region, and Joachim Palmé, regional leader for Nordics, have left the company : "I would like to thank Joachim and Dominique for their significant contributions to TD SYNNEX's performance in their respective regions over the past years and I wish them both well for the future", concluded Patrick Zammit.
