As a distributor and integrator of document management and advanced capture solutions, systhen (formerly Spigraph) has announced a new partnership with hardware manufacturer Epson. This partnership will enable customers of the two dematerialisation specialists to benefit from a comprehensive, high added-value offering, combined with a range of dedicated services and local support.
"Epson has some very interesting specific products, which we wanted to add to our range and which were requested by our customers", says Denis Bamploix, Managing Director of systhen. "The quality of our relationship with Epson has led to a desire to work together to create a range of systhen services dedicated to Epson products, particularly around scanner recycling. In this age of ecological sobriety, it is very important to be able to meet a manufacturer partner who shares the same desire as us. This new partnership strengthens our range of products and services, and we are delighted to welcome Epson to our network of partners."
A win-win partnership
This partnership is an opportunity for Epson, which has been manufacturing scanners for 30 years, to draw on systhen's sales force, whose territorial coverage ensures immediate proximity to its customers. In addition to relocating its supply chain to Saint-Quentin-Fallavier (38) in June 2022, systhen also has 6 project managers, 3 pre-sales consultants, 11 technicians across France and 4 developers based in Algeria, responsible for configuring the solutions. The group also has a call centre and a telephone support service offering a high level of responsiveness in the event of a breakdown. Coupled with systhen's expertise in the scanner and digitisation market, this presence throughout France is a major asset for Epson.
"The market is becoming increasingly specialised. We therefore need partners who can provide expertise, services, logistics and knowledge of the software and hardware environments to address the market correctly", explains Jean-Michel Pavie-Houdry, Head of Scanner Sales at Epson. "Today, there is a population of companies who turn to multifunctional printing devices to scan, without knowing the added value of dedicated scanners. The partnership between Epson and systhen can help reassure and support resellers in promoting these higher added-value solutions."
systhen, for its part, has already added Epson scanner references to its catalogue, such as the recent DS-790WN model, offering the possibility of addressing new markets and responding to ever more precise needs. This high-speed network scanner is ideal for scanning and distributing documents in multi-user environments.
Increasing added value for customers
In addition to benefiting from the joint expertise of systhen and Epson, customers of both companies will be able to take advantage of comprehensive support throughout their dematerialisation projects. Indeed, systhen's expertise and its sales force, combined with the solutions offered by Epson, provide greater responsiveness and flexibility for an optimal experience.
Far from stopping there, systhen intends to continue developing new partnerships, having already welcomed Inotec, Crowley and e-ImageData into its "ecosystem". "It is by analysing the specific needs of our customers that we embark on the search for new supplier partners, without ever minimising the offering of our partners already in place", Denis Bamploix reminds us. "Among other things, we know that many customers have large document collections to digitise, with a lot of paper archives, microfiche and microfilm. Epson is precisely responding to this specific need with the 12000XL Pro model, a phototype scanner, enabling us to offer premium products to which we bring our own expertise: integration of a solution, training for our customers, support, maintenance, follow-up, equipment servicing, etc."
