INTERVIEW: DENVER A/S eyes European growth in 2025.

How has 2024 been for Denver Electronics? 

2024 has been an exciting year for Denver Electronics so far, with sales numbers exceeding our expectations. Our Wi-Fi photo frames with Frameo software have become our best-selling category, which comes as no surprise given their simplicity and user-friendly software. Frameo software allows users to easily share photos and videos of memorable moments, making it a hit among consumers looking to stay connected with loved ones. 

 

In terms of recognition, our Wi-Fi photo frames received notable industry accolades in 2022-2023. The Norwegian electronics industry awarded our Wi-Fi photo frame as the photo/video product of the year, and our models PFF-1021 and PFF-726 were rated among the top by Chip.de, taking 2nd and 4th place, respectively. 


As we approach the Christmas season, these Wi-Fi photo frames are perfectly positioned as popular gift choices, adding to the excitement for the holiday period. But overall, our audio products continue to perform strongly, and our smartwatches are also seeing impressive sales.

Denver has a well established presence in the EMEA region. Which countries are you prioritising in 2025? 

Our primary focus remains on the European market, we have own subsidiaries in Germany, Netherlands and Spain but we are looking for DENVER distributors in other countries. With our affordable prices and extensive product range of around 500 active items, and ALL on stock in Europe, we’re well-positioned to meet the needs of these markets, where average disposable income aligns well with our offerings.  

 

For all Europe we look for large retailers who can see DENVER as a potential brand. France is a market we’re eager to expand more into. We're yet to find the right distribution partner. We’re hopeful that 2025 will bring the right partner to help us establish a stronger foothold in France. That said, we’re open to exploring opportunities across all markets where we can create valuable partnerships. 

 

Also in the periphery of Europe, we find exciting markets with great potential – including Dubai/ the UAE, which demographically, cultural, economically, and geographically could fit well with our product portfolio. 

 

Additionally, we aim to strengthen our position in the countries where we’re already established by developing customer-centric solutions and actively pursuing new customer relationships. 

 

As a multi-category brand, are there any products or launches planned for Channel Summit EMEA? 

Our core categories are sound, vision and electric scooters. We have 500 different DENVER products on stock, we will show many of then on the show.  


Aside from consumer channels, is Denver Electronics active in any other verticals? 

Our products are sold in a wide range of retailer-categories and on various online platforms. 

 

What sort of marketing support do you offer your channel partners? 

We provide high-quality product images that partners can use in ads and campaigns. For partners requiring in-store displays, we also assist with display stands to enhance product visibility. We focus on developing videos and images for our flagship products, those we anticipate will perform particularly best, to help boost sales and brand awareness.
