According to a recent report by market research house Futuresource Consulting, the home audio market experienced positive levels of growth in 2021 (Q1 - Q3).The overall market expanded by 14% to 133m units, representing an estimated retail value of $15.2 billion. Products tracked in the report include wireless speakers, soundbars, A/V receivers and Hi-Fi systems.
A number of audio innovations showcased at the recent CES show points to another promising year for the home audio market with stand out products and innovations from brands such as Cambridge Audio, MAYHT, JBL and LG.
E-tailers, retailers and distributors participating at the upcoming Channel Summit event indicated in a recent survey that audio was a high priority category for 2022 with 75% of the registered audience indicating it was the main product they were looking to source at the show.
