How has 2024 been for Wenger?

It's been a great year and I'm pleased to share a few highlights.

At the end of 2023, we relaunched our 'new' distribution strategy for Europe and our partners are working very successfully with this system since the beginning of the year. 

It's all about SEGMENTATION.


WENGER was once again named 'Swiss Brand of the Year' by the Swiss Institute for Quality Testing. For the year 22/23 and 23/24 in the 'Outstanding price/performance ratio' area and currently in the 'Excellent quality' category.


A quality product with close to 0 claims! For the second year in a row, WENGER has won the tender for employee equipment bags from the North Rhine-Westphalia Regional Finance Directorate. Tender 1 was in the time frame 2017 to 2021 and we delivered 9.696 Wheeled Business Cases, 9.696 Laptop Bags, 3.797 Backpacks. The Tender 2 will be in the time frame 2022 to 2025 and we will deliver 8.502 Wheeled Business Cases, 8.502 Laptop Bags. Tender 1 had a claim rate of 0,2%! 


Which products will you be showcasing at Channel Summit?

Our core range of backpacks, laptop bags, wheeled business cases and luggage. We'll also be previewing our Legacy Black Series (image left) ahead of the official launch in April 2025.


How is the corporate gift business? Is the B2B market an important channel for Wenger?

We divide the B2B market into 2 verticals:

1) The corporate gift business which is a very important channel for WENGER 

2) The B2B employee equipment of Consumer Electronics & Office Supplies - also a very important channel for WENGER


Which countries are you prioritising for market entry / growth?

The strongest country for WENGER is Germany where we have doubled sales in the last 5 years. We are interested in opportunities for the UK, France, Switzerland, Poland, Benelux, Czech Republic and Scandinavia.

Tell us about your channel partner programme 

I mentioned our revised approached to market segmentation earlier on and this plays an important role in how we manage our channel partner programmes. We offer more tailored sales support and campaigns in line with the different markets and business opportunities.

And of course, we support our partners with the standard marketing and sales materials including product pictures, videos, lifestyle shots, product sheets, banners etc..

We provide comprehensive and high quality product support for our different collections and varied channels.
