"It’s the perfect solution for commuters looking to improve their quality of life wherever they go". Elaine Lin, Senior Manager, Airvida

Airvida is carving out a category all of its own within the wearable tech space. Devices designed to improve user's health in the urban environment by enabling better air quality and noise reduction on the go. We caught up with Airvida's Senior Manager, Elaine Lin, ahead of Channel Summit EMEA 2025.

Tell us about your product

ible, founded in 2015, is a Taiwan-based smart wearable device company. Our Airvida wearable air purifier series is designed to purify the air around your face by reducing pollen, allergens, PM2.5 (air pollutant), and viruses at any time.

In 2025, a new member joins the Airvida family: the "Airvida T1," a wearable air purifier with Bluetooth noise-cancelling earbuds. As a CES Innovation Award winner, the Airvida T1 can block both air pollutants and unwanted noise with its 30dB active noise cancellation.

Is it app enabled? How does it work?

The Airvida T1 also comes with a mobile app, ible | Airvida Connect, which provides real-time information on air pollutants and pollen, and pushes instant air pollution alerts when the air quality or pollen concentration worsens. The amount of emitted negative ions is adjustable. When the air quality is acceptable, the ion level can be set to low or moderate to save battery life, but when pollution is severe, it can be boosted for better protection under poor conditions.

When commuting by bus or metro, the Airvida T1 provides both music and fresh air. In the office, it can be placed in its charging box to act as a desktop air purifier. It’s the perfect solution for commuters looking to improve their quality of life wherever they go.

Could you explain in more detail how the Airvida works?

The negative ions generated by Airvida can rapidly attach to nearby airborne particles, turning them into larger and heavier particles that then fall to the ground more quickly, preventing them from being inhaled.

Thanks to its fanless design, Airvida can reduce inhalable pollen/allergens (99.9%, tested by the Japan Far Infrared Association), PM2.5 (99.9%, tested by the Japan Far Infrared Association), and viruses (99.9%, tested by the Japan Kitasato Research Center for Environmental Science) without generating any noise.

This innovation has gained recognition worldwide, leading Airvida to win Innovation Awards at CES in 2020 and 2023, the German Innovation Award in 2022, the Taiwan Excellence Awards in 2022 and 2024, and first place in the SNQ (Symbol of National Quality, Taiwan) Epidemic Prevention Category for four consecutive years.

Does Airvida have a presence in the EMEA region?

Currently, the Airvida family has sold over 400,000 units in 10+ countries, including Switzerland and the UK where we are listed with Curry's Online. Outside of EMEA, Japan is also a good market for us.
