Broadliner ASBISC Enterprises has established a subsidiary in Greece, ASBIS Hellas SA, which has already started sales. Thus, ASBIS has its companies in 28 countries, from which products are sold on about 60 markets.
ASBIS was operating on the Greek market, through its Cypriot subsidiary and was servicing specific customers through a team of local sales representatives Following the decision to focus more on prospective markets, the new company ASBIS Hellas SA was established at the end of 2022, which, after a short period of building a team of employees, has already started sales in Greece. The company will focus both on the consumer and on the advanced IT solutions - VAD services as well as its newly established Robotics division which is expected to boost revenues from the country.
Costas Tziamalis, Deputy CEO of ASBIS Group, commented: “we announced a direct entry into the Greek market some time ago. This is a natural development of the company given our close ties with the Greek IT market and our commitment to further develop and grow from markets which we did not focus in the past. So far, our Greek operations have been conducted from Cyprus, however, we believe that Greece has much greater potential for growth, which is why we decided to establish a subsidiary of ASBIS there. From now on, this company will be responsible for the development of our operations in the Greek market. I am convinced that the new company will develop dynamically and will achieve its goals.”
Ioannis Kounas, GM of ASBIS Hellas, commented: "I feel quite excited and honored to be part of ASBIS group and its fully owned subsidiary in Greece. The opening of our office is a great opportunity to deliver new and innovative products and solutions to Greek consumers and businesses. Local experience, an energetic team and the strong distribution background of a multinational organization, are the key elements of ASBIS Hellas to become the partner of choice in Greece."
